This is an opportunity to work for an experienced site supervisor to join an established growing domestic home builder
Our client is primarily an investment builder, currently turning over a huge number of homes per year, they are a well known builder constructing various multi developments and single residence. This company prides its self on not only quality and timely builds but the people who make up their team. Your primary role day to day will be to co-ordinate and oversee the operational works on the sites you are responsible for.
The site supervisor will deal with sub-contractors and trades as well as suppliers whilst effectively communicating with the estimators and Project team. In addition, you will deal with issues raised throughout the day's work ensuring they are dealt with to achieve continuity on site, ensure safety is maintained and works are being undertaken in accordance with plans, specifications, scopes, codes, and regulations.
Skills and experience:
- Ability to organise the methodology and program of work
- Come from a trade background (Carpentry ideally)
- Can build stick build and not just rely on pre-fab
- Read and interpret plans to carry out the construction work accordingly
- Well-developed leadership and communications skills,
- Proven ability in coordinating and managing employees, subcontractors and suppliers, while ensuring their compliance with company and project specifications
