The primary purpose of this role is to lead, organise and provide direction for employees to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in people performance, HSE&Q outcomes and the business results.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and oversee field based activities, relating to time, cost, quality and safety criteria for planned and emergency situations.
- Manage materials using purchasing system and subcontract services required to complete the work schedule
- Completion of all reports and job control worksheets
- Lead and manage the team to ensure organisational goals are achieved
- Apply conflict resolution techniques to avoid potential escalations of industrial disputes
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Direct knowledge of high and low voltage operating policies, procedures, new connections and Electrical distribution system
- Knowledge of Underground Services, Cable Faults & Civil construction.
- Knowledge of safe working practices, OHS&E principles and Australian standards
- Working knowledge of legal, financial, quality and risk management concepts and their application to field employees
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a team
- Computer skills to use SAP, Word, Excel and planning packages
Please note you must possess a current Australian Driver’s Licence and continually hold this license as travel between sites will be required.
