Manager - Civil Construction

Working closely with, and reporting to, the General Manager Operations and Managing Director,

This fulltime position, based in Bairnsdale, the commercial capital of East Gippsland which would ideally suit:

A civil engineer with a minimum 10 years field experience in the civil construction sector or alternatively an experienced Civil Project Manager with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

Key area of success is to drive operational efficiency through programming, resource and time utilisation on projects across multiple simultaneous project sites.

 Civil contract management and construction tasks as required on various projects while mentoring and leading the team of civil supervisors.

Key tasks:

• Tender and Bid management
• Client interface and stakeholder relationship management
• Contract management and claims
• Management of teams within the division and leadership
• Project programming and Cost control
• Project site meetings
• Daily management of supervisors and team leaders , assist in planning works
• Reporting, communication with GM Ops on project status and updates

A competitive industry Package in the range of 120 – 150k commensurate with experience would be offered for the applicable candidate.
