We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in Perth, WA. The successful candidate will lead the scoping and delivery of track renewal projects for major rail clients.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage the project team to complete the scope of work in accordance with the Client's expectation of time, cost, safety, quality and environmental objectives.
- Manage the delivery of the project scope in accordance with the schedule and budget.
- Manage project delivery execution activities, including scoping, engineering design, procurement, and execution of site based activities.
- Manage the project team and ensure resources are assigned to effectively deliver the project requirements.
- Actively engage with the project stakeholders and develop strong and effective relationships with client representatives, subcontractors and other third parties as necessary.
- Undertake project meetings and provide regular project reporting in accordance with organisation and client requirements.
- Provide strong financial and commercial management of the project, including accurate forecasting and reporting of project costs and revenue.
- Comply with and promote company and client safety obligations, policies and procedures.
Requirements to be successful:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Engineering or Construction Management qualification (Bachelor degree or equivalent)
- Formal Project Management qualification desired.
- Greater than 10 years project management experience in the rail industry (or similar)
- Experience in the execution of major track renewal projects (Value >$50m).
