The project department located in Melbourne is responsible for managing and delivering the range of ADB Safegate's innovative solutions across Australia and the Asia Pacific region. 

The Role

Due to significant growth within the ADB Safegate Australia headquarter and the ongoing expansion of the project delivery team, ADB Safegate Australia Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer/Coordinator for Airfield Lighting Development Projects to join our team and be part of the future.

Reporting to Project Manager, the project engineer/coordinator is responsible for supporting turkey Airfield Lighting projects across Australia and South East Asia. You will be responsible for maintaining safety and quality documentation, procurement of equipment, estimation and everyday ad-hoc activities.

Job Description

  • Interpreting the civil aspect of airfield lighting design drawings and specifications.
  • Generate bill of quantities using estimation tools.
  • Prepare and maintain quality and safety documentation.
  • Time to time site travel is required.
  • Assist with generating pro forma and commercial invoices.
  • Update project managers regularly on status of equipment deliveries.
  • Prepare commissioning sheets, ITPs and SWMS
  • Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented and managed from a financial perspective.
  • Attend monthly meetings as required and take minutes.
  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers and create purchase orders as required.
  • Ensure all contractors licenses are up to date for industry compliance.
  • Any other ad-hoc projects and duties as required by the management.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within construction industry
  • Previous experience in SAP is desirable.
  • Knowledge of International and Australian Standards ICAO and MOS would be a plus.

Education

  • Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil) or minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience. 

IT Skills

  • Intermediate to Advance proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, MS project, Outlook)
