Our client is a leading waste management company dealing with solid waste, liquids and industrial services. They are currently looking to expand their Ballarat team to assist with an increase in workload.

There will also be opportunity for top performers to secure a long term position, subject to performance.
We are currently looking for experienced Plant Operators to move rubbish around the transfer station. The hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm with some Saturday and Sunday work. The pay rate is $34.00 per hour, with additional penalties in line with the Waste Management Award.
To be considered for these roles, applicants must satisfy the following key selection criteria:
- Hold current Excavator, Front End Loader, Dump Truck, Must have either Compactor or Dozer ticket
- Proven experience in a similar position (minimum 2 years)
- Experience working within the waste management industry, desired but not essential
- Have your own reliable transport
- Be prepared to get off the machinery to assist with other duties where required
- Own PPE (safety boots, long sleeve hivis and long pants), all other PPE will be provided by site
- Flexibility to work overtime to support the business and changing workloads
- Be committed, motivated and reliable
