This Australian owned organisation who has been operating successfully for over 90 years is seeking an experienced outbound customer service consultant to join its team. Based in Homebush. This is a great permanent role with an immediate start!.
This company is an obvious leader in its field and the team is led by a great Manager. This high-volume role, with all warm leads provided and your role will be filled with variety and a fast-paced environment.
Your duties will include:
- Sell the benefits of services and expertise and attempt to make a sale during interaction with customer from warm leads
- Upsell service options by promoting the benefits based on the customers' needs
- Generate leads for other business units
- Respond to inbound customer telephone calls and initiate calls derived from online enquiries
- Use exploratory questions to uncover customer needs with the view to generating a sale
- Provide customers with correct information without the use of technical advice
- Take reasonable steps to retain customers
- Resolve customer enquiries in a timely manner, efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate customer records
- Process customer payments
- Ad hoc duties as required
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous call centre/customer service experience within a high-volume environment and a stable history is a must
- Experience with outbound calls essential
- Strong customer service approach
- Excellent telephone manner
- Team attitude
- Excellent PC skills including a high data entry speed
- Strong communication skills both written and spoken
- A can do attitude
- A sense of urgency
- Professional presentation
