We support job seekers with disability, injury, illness and disadvantage to build better working lives. Currently we have a newly created position for a DES Contact Centre Officer based in Lidcombe.

This will be a full time max term opportunity.

About The Role:

As the DES Contact Centre Officer you will be the first point of call for our participants, key duties of the role will include:

  • Answering all calls and assisting participants where possible to minimise phone traffic to sites;
  • Delivering the Welcome experience to participants - who we are, what we do, and the purpose of our service;
  • Ensuring regular contact with our participants to ensure engagement with the program; and
  • Providing advocacy and information about atWork Australia's services to both participants and the wider community.

About You:

We are looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills and is able to provide a friendly and engaging experience during all phone calls.

Key attributes we are looking for include:

  • Ability to communicate and build rapport with participants and employers;
  • Ability to provide helpful solutions with a friendly demeanour;
  • Customer focused ensuring all participants are engaged and satisfied with the service;
  • Ability to manage difficult clients and problem solve;
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve customer service requirements and targets;
  • Genuine passion and eagerness to assist people with disability to have a better life; and
  • Current Police Clearance no greater than 6 months old and ability to obtain Working with Children's Check.
