An opportunity is currently available to join the Avis Parramatta and West Ryde team as a Rental Sales Agent. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be a part of a company which is committed to providing a first rate workplace for all employees.

 The ideal candidate must be prepared to work from either location and on weekends (weekend work until midday). We are a close-knit team that have a strong focus on teamwork, integrity, strong work ethic and maintaining a pleasant work environment. Experience in the Car Rental industry is preferred.

To be successful in this role:

• You will have strong customer service experience and skills, ideally within a similar environment.

• You will pride yourself on your sales skills and you will feel confident in recommending products and upgrades to customers

• Your problem solving skills will be highly developed and you will be able to provide solutions to customer issues

• You will enjoy working autonomously or as part of a team as required

• You will possess highly developed interpersonal skills which allow you to build rapport quickly with customers and colleagues

• You will have intermediate computer skills and be able to adapt quickly to a new system

• You will feel confident in handling cash and card transaction in an accurate manner with previous experience in cash handling

• You will be flexible to work across a rotating roster over a seven day period including weekends

• You will hold a full valid driver's licence and be confident in driving a range of vehicles including automatic, manual and larger vehicles

           You will have a commitment to Work Health and Safety in the workplace
