About the Company:

About the role:

This position as an Emergency Response Operator will see you as the first contact point to customers, so it is paramount that you have the ability to remain calm and provide an effective service to our valued customers. You will be updating client information while handling the call, so fast and accurate data entry skills are essential. You will relay critical information to emergency services so they can provide assistance. This is a high volume call centre environment where you will also be liaising with family members, conducting equipment test calls and preparing relevant documentation/administration.

Location: Macquarie Park

Current shifts: 8am to 6pm and 10am to 8pm

The role is Monday to Sundays with a 4/3 roaster - 4 shifts per week of 10 hrs (including 30 minute break and 2 x 15 minute breaks)

What you need to have:

  • High level of integrity and work/personal ethics
  • Ability to prioritise and manage numerous tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent listening skills, empathetic, caring and patient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Demonstrate your teamwork and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Work an 8 hour rotating roster between the hours of 5am to 8pm, including weekends and public holidays
  • Own reliable transport

The assessment centre is on Friday 29th of June.
