Customer Care Officer (Thomastown)
Job Summary
Axieo are searching for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented professional who is exceptional at managing stakeholder expectations, to join our team and help us deliver quality service to our valued customers.
Core responsibilities of the role include:
- Respond to all customer inquiries over the phone and provide problem resolution.
- Ensure orders are entered into the system accurately and to standard.
- Monitor outstanding sales and communicate order updates to customers.
- File all sales related documentation on a daily basis.
- Maintain current knowledge of the company's products and services.

About the Role:
Based at our Masterbatch site in Thomastown, the main objective of this role is to respond to customer inquires over the phone and help manage sales orders as well as effectively resolve any problems to ensure customers have a great experience with our brand every single time.
Additional responsibilities of the role include:
- Respond to all customer inquiries (including C of A's technical data sheets and MSDS's).
- Escalate inquiries to Account Managers, Product Managers or technical/ service areas as required.
- Ensure orders are entered within company guidelines and lead time policies.
- Provide computer system generated confirmation for all customer orders received.
- Monitor customer complaints, enquiries and outstanding sales orders each morning to take appropriate action and communicate any changes to customers.
- File all sales related documentation on a daily basis.
- Ensure credits, pick-up advices and other adjustments are dealt with in a prompt manner.
- Manage work activities to achieve the volume expected to meet operational requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of the company's products and services.
- Recognise and recommend operational improvements.

- Relevant customer service experience, particularly in customer complaint/problem resolution capacity, ideally 2+ years
- Prior experience working with enterprise systems – AX ideally
- Accurate data entry with high volume
- Prior experience working with a B2B sales team, experience interacting and managing expectations of internal stakeholders as well as customers
- Experience working with a diverse product range
- Previously provided remote support over the phone
- Ability to use initiative and pro-actively problem solve to produce win-win outcomes and uphold Axieo's operational standards and positive reputation amongst customers
- Incredible communication skills – both verbal and written
- Great team-player who enjoys working in a close-knit and supportive team environment
- Is known for taking initiative and delivering service that exceeds customers' expectations
- MS Product range and Skype for business
