About the role

Customer Service

  • Ensure customer orders can be taken immediately via phone, fax and email.
  • Ensure product knowledge is up to date and can be communicated to the customer. (Product training to be provided by The OR Company)
  • Ensure each customer's point of first contact is a positive experience.
  • Maintain relevant customer records

 

Customer Relationship Management

  • Ensure orders are received, processed and dispatched as per The OR Company minimum performance standards.
  • Ensure minimum delivery standards are being met or exceeded (Overnight)
  • Conduct internal/external stock-takes as/if required

 

Office Administration

  • Create invoices and purchase orders in unleashed on a daily basis
  • Create accounts in unleashed/Zoho for new clients within Australia & New Zealand
  • Maintain existing accounts 
  • Co-ordinate all check points relating to new products and launches
  • Data entry of leads and new contacts
  • Streamline processes

 

System, Policy and Process Management

  • Assist in coordination of The OR Company attendance at conferences and meetings.

 

Other Functions and Duties

  • Daily maintenance of office space (as per daily operating procedures)
  • Co-ordination and management office resources
  • General office support duties
  • Co-ordination of electronic and paper based document management systems
  • Maintaining the revision and approval of all documents
  • Maintaining hard copies of all approved documents
  • Pick & Pack orders when it is necessary

Skills and experience

  • Proficiency in a similar customer service role with excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision with experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment being an advantage
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and highly developed time management ability
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and team work focused
  • Willing to assist warehouse assistant when it is required
