Monadelphous' Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, shutdowns, fixed plant maintenance services, access solutions, dewatering services, specialist coatings, and sustaining capital works.
The opportunity:
Reporting to the Workforce Manager you will be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of 10-20 direct reports to achieve and exceed their performance targets. You will liaise with Operations within the business unit on all resourcing, client and site requirements and staff in relationship to labour supply requirements whilst ensuring the delivery of a high-quality customer experience for Workforce Management’s internal and external customers through the provision of accurate and professional advice on a broad range of enquiries.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Leading a large team in a fast paced, rapid change environment
- Monitoring, measuring and reporting on quality assurance, compliance and performance against key metrics
- Identify and implement business process change
- Manage change in the workplace by gaining confidence of staff through effective decision making and communication
- Build operational efficiency through monitoring of and adherence to team/individual performance targets
- Management and development of staff behaviours and productivity
Your experience will include:
- Prior knowledge in managing a-large-and-dynamic workforce delivering contract services background
- Proven record management of people and teams
- Relevant experience supplying services to the resources, industrial maintenance, engineering and construction industry (desired)
- Proven experience and demonstrated capability in managing, leading and developing people to enhance business capability and deliver excellent customer service
- Proven leadership and coaching skills
- The ability to be passionate about achieving success for our customers, our partners and each other. I seek solutions, learn and continually improve
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to convey verbal and written information clearly and effectively
