Our existing client in a leader in Financial Services, who due to increased workload require a Collection Officer with between 2-4 years experience to join their diverse Credit team on a 3 month contract.

Description

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Manage overdue accounts and make all efforts to collect outstanding payments
• Undertake repossession or write off of assets, where collection activity fails
• Ensure all arrears reporting and activities comply with company policies and procedures and legal requirement
• Resolving client billing issues

Profile

To be considered you must possess:

• Demonstrated experience in reducing arrears through proactive problem solving
• Working knowledge of debt collection guidelines
• Experience in process serving and repossessions essential or willingness to learn
• Highly developed negotiation skills
• An exemplary telephone manner
• High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Good communication skills
