We are looking for an inspirational leader who can lead our Placement Support team into the next generation of Job Active services.

About the role

As the Manager of the Placement Support team, you will lead Team Leaders in our National Service Centre, and a large team of indirect reports, towards achieving the daily business goals, and the longer term Service Centre transformation. 

You will be responsible for:-

• Leadership development and succession planning for your team/s
• Achievement of targets
• Monitoring of performance of the whole team with targeted action plans
• Collaboratively working with other Managers to meet the goals of related business units
• Stakeholder management and feedback to the wider Employment Plus site network across Australia
• Managing and forecasting workload and resource requirements
• Compliance, Audit and Risk Management of your Team’s processes

Our National Service Centre, based in Modbury SA, is an extended hours Contact Centre environment providing support to our network of sites around Australia, servicing the needs of Job Seekers through engagement and post placement support activities, and the provision of Wage Subsidies to employers.

The ability to work within extended operational hours during peak working times is required.

Ours is a fast paced environment; you will need to be able to think on your feet and be flexible with tasks, as well as being a quick learner with advanced computer (Microsoft Office) skills. 

Experience with Job Active outcome claims and wage subsidies in the Job Active contract environment is required.  Specifically, a high level of knowledge of the job active contract and Deed requirements, and the processes to support outcome claims and wage subsidy processes is critical to the success of this role. 

Completion of a Certificate level qualification with relevant work experience in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training is also desirable.
