About the business

Arisit Pty. Ltd. is the Australian distributor for Italy's largest manufacturer of domestic appliances along with other international brands.

Reporting directly to the customer service supervisor, we are looking for a strong candidate who has past experience in the customer service industry. Working within the planning team, you will play an integral role in providing first contact resolution and providing support to not only consumers but also external stakeholders.

The primary objective is to answer a high volume of customer service and warranty calls and process these enquiries via phone and email correspondence.

Outstanding communication and time management skills together with your ability to work under pressure and multi task is paramount to your success in the role. 

About the role

Job tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing inbound customer enquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • High volume data entry
  • Provide first call resolution of customer concerns by providing product information and technical assistance
  • Set up and maintenance of customer accounts and details
  • Scheduling of service calls with external agents
  • Assist with parts ordering and invoicing
  • Liaising with our national repair network and internal technicians
  • Other general administrative and office duties as required 

Skills and experience

  • Proven customer service background in a call centre environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Very good computer literacy skills
  • Have a proactive and lateral thinking approach to resolving issues
  • The ability to work autonomously and work within a team environment
  • Prior experience with home appliances is preferred but not essential
