We are looking for a Customer Service specialist with an Operations focus. You will be a jack of all trades and be able to communicate effectively with customers via phone, email and LiveChat. You will be a graduate, wanting to further your career in the finance industry and will ideally have some experience in phone based Customer Service or Operations. Exemplary skills of communication are of course, an absolute must and experience in banking / finance would be a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle high volume outbound and inbound phone calls
  • Negotiate the collection of outstanding accounts in a respectful manner and build rapport with customers
  • Adhere to all legislative guidelines including ASIC and ACCC and Privacy Act
  • Handle multiple incoming requests through LiveChat, phone, and email and provide in-depth, knowledgeable answers
  • Identify and solve potential and current problems by analysing information and data across multiple databases
  • Maintain accurate account records, ensuring all relevant customer information is obtained and updated.

Required skills and experience:

  • A couple of years’ experience in a Customer Support, collections or operations role and have a strong focus on service
  • A positive attitude, are team oriented, social, and fun to work with
  • Feels empowered to help solve escalated issues. Works towards making a wrong a right”.
  • You are technically minded and love keeping up with the latest technology
  • You are flexible and adaptable to change
  • You are able to multitask at a very high level and maintain multiple deadlines
  • You have proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience using Salesforce is desired but not essential as on the job training will be provided
  • Banking/finance experience is a plus
