Our business is well positioned for growth and we are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Level 1 IT Service Desk Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Team Leader you will be the first point of contact for all service desk calls relating to new user set up, software and hardware issues. You will perform troubleshooting and resolve a range of help desk issues communicated via phone, e-mail, or walk-up requests from our employees at head office or across our multiple sites nationally. In addition, you will update and maintain company contacts, set and load computer equipment with required items and prepare computer equipment for operation for new users.

About You:

To be successful you will have some exposure to Level 1 Service desk environments and your best in class customer service skills and problem solving capabilities will ensure your success. You will require knowledge of computer logic and methodology to run computer systems with aptitude in repairs, spy ware and virus removal, hardware, upgrades and troubleshooting.
