Our client is one of the world's leaders in the automotive supplies sector, boasting a comprehensive product portfolio, strong brand presence and annual sales in the billions. They now seek a Call Centre Supervisor / Contact Centre Supervisor to inspire and lead the team located north of the city (near Watsonia).

As Call Centre Supervisor, you'll lead a team (of just under 10 direct reports) and your role will include:  monitoring and analysing calls to ensure procedures and quality standards are achieved; ensuring adequate resources to reduce call wait times/abandon rates; establishing and monitoring team KPIs and targets; scheduling team member’s shifts; allocating team resources to complete outbound calls (eg. follow up calls to customers regarding back orders); ensuring orders and returns are processed via the call centre according to procedures; recruitment, training (on products, pricing and customer service), and development of team members including performance reviews; regular reporting on call centre performance; developing strategies for continuous improvement and innovation; and supporting new system rollouts when required. 

As Call Centre Supervisor, you'll be passionate about delivering an exceptional level of customer service.  Possessing previous recent experience supervising, leading or managing a busy call or contact centre you'll be someone who is highly analytical, always seeking ways to create efficiencies and look for continuous improvement. As Call Centre Supervisor you must possess the following:

  • At least 3 years' people leadership experience in a similar call/contact centre role
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, management or similar
  • Previous experience managing a call centre team of more than 5 personnel
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and proven results in rolling out continuous improvement initiatives which improve productivity/performance and enhance customer service levels
  • KPI setting, monitoring and budgetary management
  • Scheduling of shifts, recruitment, training, development, and performance review of team members
  • An exceptional level of attention to detail
  • The demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage several competing deadlines
  • A professional, articulate communication style, coupled with lots of positivity, a 'can-do' approach, open-mindedness and a passion for innovation
