Job Purpose

We require a customer services person to generate and administer B2C and B2B sales via telephone for the following key business areas:

  • Membership
  • Training Products
  • Events

Key Achievements and responsibilities 

  • Contact potential and existing professionals to inform them about a product or service offering.
  • Generate revenue by making outbound calls that will contribute to the overall business targets within the key business areas such as membership, training products and events.
  • Lead the annual subscription campaign February – May and contribute to the renewal target
  • Basic understanding of the Assessment qualification process when making calls to existing candidates.
  • Knowledge of RICS products as they relate to an individual’s discipline.
  • Perform other administrative tasks such as data entry, filing and other ad-hoc duties as required by Operations team.
  • Keep records of all calls and emails via CRM.
  • Personally, adhere to RICS procedures ensuring effective logging of all information onto CRM accurately and producing a pipeline of opportunities to grow the business.
  • Direct prospects to the right teams for expert advice when required.

Knowledge and skills required 

  • Experience in inbound and outbound telephone sales and proven experience in a telephone based customer service role.
  • Experience in supporting teams to achieve overall business objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Results driven and commercially minded.
  • Computer literacy skills with general applications, as well as the ability to learn in-house systems such as CRM.
  • A self-motivated, confident person.
