Fantastic opportunity for an engaging Customer Service Team Leader or Manager to join a leading FMCG business in North Ryde. Contract role with immediate start.

Client Details

Our client is a global FMCG business with a large portfolio of Cosmetics and Personal Care products. They take pride in their well-known brands and word class Customer Service, and are currently looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager, to lead and motivate a small team, continuously improve processes, and to ensure customer service is on par with the company standards. This role would suit a highly motivated and engaging people leader with a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive performance, and positive relationships with other business units.

Description

As Customer Service Manager ANZ you will:

  • Lead and motivate a team of 4 Customer Service professionals
  • Coordinate Australia and New Zealand teams to balance the workload of calls, order entry and claims processing
  • Maintain and improve customer service levels, identify and resolve internal & external issues, and drive implementation of corrective actions
  • Manage team and individual performance, assess needs for training and provide support & coaching where needed
  • Ensure effective communications between Customer Service and other departments
  • Provide professional consumer and customer support in all areas of enquiries, product information and complaints
  • Coordinate the timely resolution of all customer service issues and non-conformances
  • Process manual and EDI orders
  • Escalate IT issues and follow up resolution, in order to meet deadlines

Profile

Our client is looking for an engaging Customer Service Team Leader or Manager with:

  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively present ideas and solutions
  • Experience in developing and managing a team in a product based environment
  • A passion for customer service, and coaching and mentoring a team
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work with changing priorities
  • Experience in strategy development and implementation
