About the opportunity 
In this role you will be responsible for triaging all advice referrals phone-based activities that generate leads for Financial Planners, create new members from warm prospects and increase funds under management through positive engagement with VicSuper and their super experience.
 
In this position, you will be required to:
  • Triage all referrals made to the various Distribution teams to determine member advice needs and the most appropriate advice channel
  • Provide general advice to clients where personal advice is not required
  • Identify and refer leads for personal advice as appropriate
  • Make outbound contact to current and prospective clients to generate advice leads for personal advice appointments, engage with new members, grow new funds under management and retain members
  • Book and confirm appointments
  • Maintain client records
  • Prepare and send client communications
  • Complete administration relating to the provision of personal advice
 
About you
To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator and proactive team player that enjoys engaging with customers to assist them on their financial journey.
You will have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in member service or advice positions within superannuation
  • Demonstrated experience providing high-level front-line client service with ownership of outcomes
  • Experience in a phone based role
  • The ability to evaluate leads and uncover member needs
  • The ability to build rapport and trust with members in a relaxed and comfortable way
  • Be able to communicate technical or operational concepts clearly and simply
  • Deliver results within documented business rules and/or legislative requirements
  • Knowledge of Superannuation products and services
  • Knowledge of financial advice practices and processes
