Position: Lead Generation Representative
Reports to: Corporate Sales Manager

Role Purpose:
The Lead Generation Representative is responsible for conducting outbound calls to generate leads for business customers interested in joining the Vodafone Network.
The role is designed to provide our business customers with a level of personalised service through ethical and sustainable sales efforts and a quality, differentiated customer experience.
The role will involve proactively managing a portfolio of leads through outbound prospecting, building rapport, identifying influencers and key decision makers in converting prospects to build sales pipeline to support the Vodafone Business Centre Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Provide business customers with outstanding customer service through outbound cold calling to targeted prospect opportunities and generate qualified leads.

Researching, developing and qualifying prospect opportunities through use of sales and CRM tools

Schedule qualified appointments for the Vodafone Business Team for new business prospects

Support the Business channel and wider Vodafone Business Centre, working as part of an energetic small team with customer needs front of mind.

Advise customers on upcoming products, services and special offers

Achieve individual targets and KPIs where assigned

Update CRM with all account activity
Preferred Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
-
Preferred telephone account management role, or
-
Worked within a call centre environment, or
-
Cold calling/outbound calling from an active database

Understanding of Vodafone products, policies and procedures

Highly motivated, sales and results driven with proven experience in outbound prospecting

Worked within the telecommunications industry is highly desired (but not essential)

Ability to work with clients at all levels

Ability to work within and support a team environment

Can work autonomously
