We are currently experiencing substantial growth and are looking for a customer service officer to join our team.

 

About the Role
Johnson Tiles requires an individual to join their busy customer service department.
You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, processing customer orders and liaising with wholesale customers and our sales team.

 

Duties / Responsibilites

  • Effectively manage a high volume of incoming calls relating to product and order inquiries
  • Data entry - Process orders for wholesale, commercial, builders and trade accounts
  • Liaise with and assist the internal sales team
  • Arrange quotes, book freight & coordinate deliveries when required
  • Answer all email enquiries through the Johnson Tiles website
  • Product Knowledge – keep up to date with all current products
  • Highlight and report stock outs to National Bunnings Account Manager & Customer Service Supervisor
  • Process return authorizations
  • Track deliveries & obtain POD's for Bunnings orders
  • General filing / office administration duties

 

Skills / Experience

  • Customer service background preferred
  • Experience in the tiling / building industry would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Time management skills
  • Self-motivated, displaying initiative
  • Problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to work in well in periods of high demand

 

An understanding of tile industry is desirable but not essential.
