Position Summary:

The role of the People Manager is to lead a team through performance management, support, coaching and mentoring whilst driving productivity, managing client relationships & ensuring all staff are adhering to the TANDEM values.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing people, roles and structures of the design team to reflect the contract and/or regional operational requirements across the region/s
• Managing the performance of the team in line with TANDEM business objectives and in a way that delivers improvements in employee engagement, job satisfaction and drives consistent behaviours across the team
• Providing direction and leadership to the team to ensure open, consistent and frequent communication and continuous improvement in relation to operational challenges, client expectations, improvements and issues.
• Driving cultural alignment to support delivery of TANDEM and client objectives.
• Overall performance management of the design team within agreed parameters/KPI’s
• Manage the ongoing identification and mitigation of service risk and issues across the team.
• Strategic focus on design quality and quality of as-built documentation.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience successfully managing a team.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience within the Telecommunication Industry will be highly regarded
• Strong planning and organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good computer literacy.
• Proven ability to effectively complete tasks and projects on time.
