Job Description

As the Customer Support Team Leader, based in Sydney, you will take a hands-on approach to managing and leading a small Internal Sales team, with a strong focus on customer service levels, internal stakeholder support, operating efficiency and team performance.

You and your team will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer quotes and sales orders.
  • Expediting sales orders to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Following up on open quotes in order to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand and support business and customer requirements.
  • Day-to-day customer communication and team performance monitoring.
  • Supporting the implementation of local and global process improvement initiatives. 

    Requirements

  • Team management and leadership experience in customer service, internal sales, aftermarket or related fields.
  • Experience working in mining, aggregates or heavy industrial industries.
  • Competent in the use of SAP.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate with and influence all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to manage competing demands while working to tight deadlines.
  • Highly motivated and results focused.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of warehousing and supply chain principles.
  • Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
