The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic customer focused Administration/Customer Service Officer to join our team at Grey Army.

Grey Army has been operating since 1997 and has become a significant force in the home and property maintenance business.

Grey Army has service providers servicing clients in numerous states around Australia.  We cover handyman and trade services, becoming a one stop shop for any home and property maintenance needs with one simple phone call.

More customers today are looking for guaranteed good service with the security that comes with using a well-established and reputable service provider like Grey Army.

We are seeking an experienced part time, administration officer with a customer service focus to join our friendly team located at Seaford.

This job share varied role will consist of both inbound and outbound customer service calls, data entry of job requests, processing both online and email enquiries, report processing and adhoc administration duties as well as liaising with service providers and third party providers.   There will be an opportunity down the track to increase hours based on skill set.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Provide a professional level of communication and customer service skills.
  • Liaise with internal and external providers in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Respond to enquiries for information on our trades and service offerings.
  • Provide accurate administration and data entry skills.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently.

The successful applicant will have the following skills & attributes

  • Previous experience in a customer service and administration role.
  • Well-developed communication skills, with a clear phone voice.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • An ability to thrive in a fast paced customer service environment.
  • An ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage own workload.
  • Previous experience in an inbound/outbound call environment.  
  • Accurate typing skills.
  • Proficient in outlook.
  • Be able to work in a close knit team environment.

Qualifications – Desirable but not essential

  • Certificate III in Customer Contact or Business Administration
