We are also committed to making a positive contribution to the communities in which we live and operate. Our Forster branch requires a part time Member Service Officer (MSO) to join the team. Member Service Officers are responsible for meeting our customer’s financial needs by delivering outstanding frontline member service and sales.      

Our MSO’s duties include:
  • Processing day-to-day transactions;
  • Promoting NPBS and third party products and services;
  • Identifying referral opportunities for NPBS business partners;
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, policies and procedures; and
  • Adherence to compliance and audit requirements. 
To be considered for these opportunities, you must demonstrate in your application:

  • Experience in a customer service and sales role;
  • Proven ability in achieving sales targets;
  • Experience in handling high volumes of cash with a high level of accuracy.
The ability to self-motivate, a strong desire to succeed and a familiarity with working to strict policies and procedures is a must in this role. Whilst experience in financial services is not essential, it will be highly regarded.

Hours of work will be:

Week 1: Thursday, Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9am – 5pm and Saturday 9am – 12pm

Upon commencement, all part time staff must be able to work at least the first seven (7) weeks at full time hours to complete their induction. You will also be required to attend training at our Head office in Newcastle as and when required. Travel, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
