Your new company
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Government Department in a customer service role on a two to four month contract. The position located in in the heart of the CBD and requires an immediate start working full time, Monday, standard office hours.
Your new role
The role of Customer Service Officer will involve answering a high volume of inbound calls in an efficient and professional manner. You will identify the customer’s need and supply the correct information ensuring you are listening effectively and communicating clearly. You will also be required to process request forms, determine eligibility, organise deliveries and raise orders as per customer demand. Some enquiries can be complex so you will be required to investigate requests, liaise with internal contacts as appropriate and follow up on every enquiry. In certain cases you will need to make follow up phone calls to consumers when their applications have been approved for funding and they are ready to have orders processed.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previously worked in a contact centre, customer service role and will hold experience in administration duties. You will have a high level of customer service and a real focus on working efficiently as well as accurate data entry skills. We require someone who is reliable, has a great work ethic and can communicate with people at all levels. You will need to manage your time, prioritise your workload and work pro actively in a busy environment. Working holiday Visa’s are welcome to apply.
