We are part of a global manufacturers and marketers of a broad range of fabricated high performance OEM and aftermarket products for some of the blue chip On and Off-highway Customers. Our product range includes mufflers and exhaust tube assemblies and accessories.
We are looking for a Planner & Customer Service Assistance to provide technical support & customer service and to promote this idea throughout the organisation. The goal is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations.
General Duties
Plan & co-ordinate the activities of the Planning & customer service team to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organizational and operational objectives.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
- Learning about the organisation's products & services and keeping up to date with changes
- Entering Customer order
- Work order planning and release
- Co-ordinate with production, purchasing and logistics departments
- Inform customers of likely delay in orders from agreed delivery dates
- Prepare and manage ETA's for overdue orders
- Take ownership of customer's issues and follow problems through to resolution
- Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
- Customer invoicing, credit notes, claims & month end statement
- Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service your organisation is providing
- Participate in continuous improvements to customer service
- Track customer complaint resolution
Applicants must have:
- Customer service experience
- Worked in a manufacturing company
- Problem analysis and problem-solving
- Planning and organizing
- Presentation skills
- Computer literacy and skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Resilience, drive and ability to cope under pressure
