If you share our passion for providing outstanding customer service and you are an enthusiastic team player we may have an internal sales role for you located at our Brisbane office.
You will bring technical experience from an aligned industry (preferably with pump design or selection), experience liaising with distributors and field sales staff, and possess applications engineering expertise as well as a high level of mechanical aptitude.
In this fast paced role you will process customer quotations and orders, ensure on-time product delivery and utilize salesforce.com to capture important customer information. You will be keen to build positive relationships and continually promote Xylem as the company of choice for all things-water related. You will have a strong desire to learn about our customers, our culture and our vast product portfolio.
Skills and experience required:
- Preferably 3 years in an internal sales and/or customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Well-developed computer skills Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- A keen interest in continuing to develop your own technical skills as well as an understanding of Xylem products and applications
- Experience in pump selection or design an advantage
