Customer Service Officer - Minto

Our business is constantly growing, and as a result we have an exciting opportunity for a reliable & motivated Customer Service Officer with administration experience to join our friendly team at the AFS Head Office in Minto.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will work within a team to support our internal & external customers with a level of service that exceeds expectations and delivers results.  Responsibilities include; 

  • Ensure phone and email enquiries and orders are processed quickly and accurately
  • Responsive customer communications regarding manufacturing and delivery capabilities or delays
  • Entering and maintaining customer orders into SAP
  • Processing credits and returns in a timely manner
  • Maintaining data integrity & compliance with internal standards & policies
  • Educate our internal & external customers on our products and services
  • Work closely with the dispatch and warehouse departments to ensure a high standard of service is provided to our customers
  • General admin and ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful

We are looking for a positive professional attitude and a keen focus on learning.  You will be known for your attention to detail, and be motivated by providing exceptional administration and customer service.  Ideally you will have; 

  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Previous experience in a similar customer service role
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Passion for providing an exceptional customer experience to internal and external customers at all times
  • High attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Willingness to go above & beyond to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction
  • Resilience and the ability to keep up in a fast paced and busy environment
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system would be highly regarded
  • Computer literacy (Word and Excel) and accurate data entry skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage others
