The role
We are currently seeking an energetic, driven 2IC/team leader to join our growing team. The role will be assisting the General Manager Sales - NSW with day-to-day duties as well as providing coaching support to our booking consultants.

Your key areas of responsibility would be:
- To coach & guide the existing team to handle inbound enquiries and convert to sales
- Auditing calls for quality of call and compliance
- Maximise the effectiveness and efficiencies of the team to achieve increased outbound call numbers
- Monitoring statistics of individual members to improve effectiveness
- Assist in the hiring, onboard and manage new hires and demonstrate your ability to create a stable and high performing inside sales team.
Your background will demonstrate:
- Experience in a 2IC role in a busy call centre environment with a team of at least six people
- An understanding of events and conference industry, ideally having attended or previously sold event space or conference facilities
- At least 2-3 years' experience with B2B phone-based sales
- Demonstrated business thinking and ability to improve sales results
- Proven experience in problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar
- Intermediate computer skills
