The Company

There is an exciting opportunity for a motivating Team Leader to lead a customer service team of 7. You will be working for a global organisation that oozes creativity! This company prides themselves with their customer service and personal touch which makes them unique and successful.
 

What does the role entail?

Reporting to the General Manager, this position is responsible for leading the Customer Service Team to deliver the highest level of service for customers as well as provide training and management to build on capability and culture.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • ensure all day to day tasks are performed by the team
  • monitor staff performance to ensure customers are provided with exceptional service, advice and insights
  • handle the recruitment of customer service department
  • assist with staff reviews and one-on-one catch ups
  • handle all escalations when required and be a product expert
  • train and provide ongoing development to the team
  • implement new processes, incentives and efficiencies
  • facilitate and run reports of figures and KPI's using Microsoft Excel
  • manage and develop relationships with outsourcers, suppliers and other external stakeholders
  • monitor and ensure KPI's are being met in line with staff performance

 

What experience is required?

  • previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor within a customer service team/call centre
  • ability to lead and develop a team
  • a strong people leader who is positive and motivating
  • advanced MS Office Suite skills especially Excel
  • strong written and verbal communication
  • ability to build and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders both in Australia and overseas
  • ability to problem solve and take ownership
  • strong leadership skills and a high level of patience
  • results driven, solutions focused with a "raise the bar" mentality
  • flexibility and commitment around peak times
