Another exciting opportunity to join the Certegy team as a Call Centre Operator within our Authorisations Department is now available. This role is a part-time position (30.4 hours per week, 4 days) on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.   

To be considered for this role you MUST be reliable, diligent and willing. You must also have an outstanding phone manner, solid keyboard skills and be able to think analytically. At Certegy Ezi-Pay we believe in providing quality customer service to both our consumers and merchant alike, as a first point of contact, our Call Centre Operators in Authorisations are responsible for ensuring all inbound (and occasional outbound) calls are handled in a polite and efficient manner.

 

Reporting to the Manager of Authorisations, your key responsible may include:

  • Answering inbound calls from merchant partners looking to have a consumer agreement authorised and other general enquiries;  
  • Verifying scanned consumer agreements in between calls;
  • In time, conducting reviews (i.e., requesting additional documentation, assessing and making a decision on applications submitted by the merchant partner);
  • Making the occasional outbound call to follow-up on a decision/outcome;
  • Scanning and filing of documentation;
  • Adhering to both the Privacy Laws of Australia & New Zealand as well as Certegy’s Internal Policies.

 

In addition to the qualities mentioned above, the successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent judgement, decision making and dispute resolution skills;
  • Have an ability to multi task and prioritise their workload;
  • Be flexible in regards to their availability;
  • Be a team player that is confident in working autonomously as well as assisting the team;
  • Have exceptional communication skills, that is, that they are articulate and friendly;
  • Be a quick learner;
  • Have adequate computer skills i.e., be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
