Do you love providing exceptional customer service?

The Mantra Group Reservations Team is situated right in the heart of Surfers Paradise in our recently renovated Corporate Offices; as our new Reservations Consultant | Consumer Direct, you will join a team of over 100 friendly and passionate reservationists who take pride in building rapport with clients and ensuring excellent customer service is given when booking hotel accommodation through our reservations department.  This Full Time role requires the successful candidate to work a rotating roster of Sunday to Saturday; 6:00AM to Midnight.

Reporting to our Team Leaders and Shift Supervisors, an average day will include:

  • Delivering EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE via the telephone and email, ensuring their Mantra Group experience exceeds their expectations
  • Building RAPPORT with guests to establish loyalty
  • Offering a PERSONALISED AND CUSTOMISED reservations experience
  • Providing SOLUTIONS and RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Developing an EXTENSIVE KNOWLEDGE of hotels and destinations
  • ESTABLISHING RELATIONSHIPS with operational Team Members
  • Ensuring a high degree of ACCURACY
  • ASSISTING and RESOLVING any guest complaints in a timely and professional manner to the best of your ability.

Ideally candidates should:

  • Have a minimum of two years' experience in a fast paced Customer Service environment
  • Be extremely friendly and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Have some hospitality experience (desired but not required)
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Take pride in their professional appearance
  • Enjoy problem solving with a flexible and willing approach to work under pressure
  • Be at an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Be confident, adaptable and willing to learn
