The Role
Working within the close knit Service Desk team, you will be part of a company who is a 'game changer' in its experience, technology and practices. There is a rotating shift roster covering 7 days a week – 365 days a year.
Reporting directly to the Service Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for monitoring the smart card network, logging of faults and other service calls and coordinating the completion of service calls using field technicians and other available resources.
Key Accountabilities
- Receiving and responding to incoming calls and emails received from internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor the smart card network for security alarms, faults, system issues and other maintenance requirements.
- Log all incidents .
- Dispatch field technicians in priority order
- Monitor progress of incidents to ensure they are escalated in a timely manner
- Follow up with internal/external stakeholders to ensure issues have been resolved
- Be reasonably available in emergency situations
The successful applicant will be have:
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or be able to demonstrate capability
- Ability to work in a high paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
This is a full time permanent role, 38 hours per week consisting of 4 to 5 shifts between 4:30am – 11:00pm Monday to Sunday including public holidays.
