BOQ Finance delivers asset finance solutions to SME and mid-market corporates predominately via intermediaries. Our partners are increasingly demanding access to a broader range of finance and banking services including Debtor Finance, Trade Finance, Inventory Finance, in addition to Asset Finance; delivered as part of broader relationship and solution-focused proposition which is enabled by a full banking relationship with the business customer of the intermediary.

 

About the Role:

 

The purpose of this role is to efficiently process of all activities within the dealer service team.

The Dealer Service is responsible for the delivery to agreed SLA’s to support the dealer finance products. The individual will develop and maintain strong working relationships with dealers, sales and service teams to deliver on customer and business outcomes

 Some of your key tasks will include:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Coordinate training delivery to sales and dealer service team in process and product changes.
  • Handling general customer queries and resolving product or service problems when they arise.
  • Recognise sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with field sales team on new business opportunities that present themselves as part of general operations management.
  • Own customer complaints as it relates to delivery of services and follow through to conclusion.
  • Ensure employment verification and credit references are completed
  • Liaise with dealers on settlement deferral matters

N.B. This role will be required to work a rotating roster, as per the below:

Available from 8.30am - 5.00pm or 9.30 - 6.00pm Monday - Friday, & Saturday from 9.00am - 4.00pm (rotating roster).

 

About you:

 

To be successful in this role you will have proven customer service experience ideally from a call centre and strong excel experience.  Further you will have the below skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Customer Service experience in banking or finance related industry
  • Work experience in call centre or customer service role beneficial
  • Knowledge of the credit or dealer finance environment beneficial
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth, high demand environment
  • Flexible and willing to learn variety of tasks across the team.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems to customer and business needs
  • Ability to communicate with customers and key stakeholders across the business
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • High level of attention to detail
  • A self-motivated individual with a desire to improve and evolve in a changing environment
