Your new company
A leading waste management service experiencing great growth is now seeking multiple Customer Service Officers for their site in Alexandria. This business covers all areas of recycling, landfill, bin waste, skip hires and industrial scale waste management. A renowned business in their market and known for their high levels of customer service, could you be the new face of the Customer Care team?

Your new role
This role is a junior role or suited to someone seeking a general, inbound customer service opportunity. The role will involve inbound calls from customers ranging from construction workers, truck drivers, or individual customers wanting to understand the process for removing waste and the services available. This is a nice, relaxed inbound customer service role which will involve some administration and usage of computer skills. If you love Customer Service and are seeking an entry level role APPLY NOW!

What you'll need to succeed

  • Customer service experience, open to hospitality, retail or call centre experience
  • Experience in handling a variety of complications and queries at once
  • Be system savvy and computer literate
  • Have EXCELLENT communication skills, written and verbally.
  • Be available to work on the rotating roster, 6am-6pm (8 hours per day) Monday to Friday and available for overtime alternate Saturdays, 6am-1pm. (shift loadings of time and a half)
  • Be customer focused and driven by providing an outstanding service

You will initially start on a salary of $50k+ Super with chance to progress internally and be promoted up the tracks. You will work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster between 6am and 6pm (8 hours per day) with the alternate Saturday shift of 6am-1pm paid as an additional over time rate. The site has free onsite parking and shops/restaurants close by. You will work within a close knit team of 8 customer service officers, and work under great peers and management.
