The role
There is currently a vacancy for a Customer Service Representative to join a successful team of 10 based on site within a team of niche product service offerings. Your primary responsibilities will include;
  • To handle incoming calls and inquiries from customers and ensure their requests are processed quickly and professionally using Pronto
  • To ensure orders are entered quickly and efficiently with zero errors
  • To investigate and solve customer’s complaints or queries using initiative and defined escalation processes
  • To provide timely and professional customer communication throughout the order cycle
  • To keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
  • To communicate and coordinate with sales, manufacturing and operations to ensure all customer needs are met
Responsibilities
  • Be customer focused and an excellent communicator
  • Making outbound calls to customers, chasing for information relating to their orders and / or account
  • To enter customer orders into ERP systems
  • To work towards becoming a product specialists
  • To support customers throughout the ordering process and/or selecting alternative products
Skills and experience
Education/Experience
  • Experience within a sales & distribution and/or manufacturing business
  • Evidence of strong customer focus and support within previous positions
  • Proactive and hardworking with a “can do” attitude
  • Vibrant personality
  • The ability to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative
Technical Skills
  • Use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, Navision)
  • Ability to understand complex products and applications
