The role
There is currently a vacancy for a Customer Service Representative to join a successful team of 10 based on site within a team of niche product service offerings. Your primary responsibilities will include;
- To handle incoming calls and inquiries from customers and ensure their requests are processed quickly and professionally using Pronto
- To ensure orders are entered quickly and efficiently with zero errors
- To investigate and solve customer’s complaints or queries using initiative and defined escalation processes
- To provide timely and professional customer communication throughout the order cycle
- To keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
- To communicate and coordinate with sales, manufacturing and operations to ensure all customer needs are met
Responsibilities
- Be customer focused and an excellent communicator
- Making outbound calls to customers, chasing for information relating to their orders and / or account
- To enter customer orders into ERP systems
- To work towards becoming a product specialists
- To support customers throughout the ordering process and/or selecting alternative products
Skills and experience
Education/Experience
- Experience within a sales & distribution and/or manufacturing business
- Evidence of strong customer focus and support within previous positions
- Proactive and hardworking with a “can do” attitude
- Vibrant personality
- The ability to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative
Technical Skills
- Use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, Navision)
- Ability to understand complex products and applications
