About the centre
Knox Leisureworks is a community facility managed by YMCA Victoria in partnership with Knox City Council. Knox Leisureworks has a huge range of facilities comprising 5 indoor and 2 outdoor swimming pools, 80-metre water slide, fully equipped gymnasium, group fitness program with over 100 weekly classes, childcare facilities, café and family and disabled change facilities. The centre currently has 2,200 Health and Wellness members and over 1,500 visitors daily. Knox Leisureworks is a leader in Swimming Lessons, operating over a 48-week program, servicing 2,300 children weekly.
About the role
Key areas:
Customer Service
- Assist with customer administration enquiries as required
- Provide support to Management Team
- Perform other duties as required and comply with reasonable directions
Membership Sales and Retention
- Follow sales process and system
- Meet team sales targets
- Service walk-in and phone-in and phone-out enquiries
Availability
- Must be available to work early mornings, late evenings or weekends.

- Maintain high standards of presentation and personal grooming
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in previous Customer Service roles (desired)
- Experience in Sales processes and system (desired)
- Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Experience with a diverse range of demographics including young children and older adults
Qualifications
- Working With Children
- Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement)
- First Aid
- CPR
