Manage a high performing collections team, utilising your proven leadership ability and business acumen to deliver positive outcomes for both Macquarie and our clients.
Our Late Arrears team is responsible for managing accounts that are 31+ days in arrears, working towards business goals to reduce delinquency through effective communication, as well as continuous problem solving and decision making.
Working in a collaborative and dynamic environment, you will drive performance through engagement and interaction with your team, understanding your team’s portfolio and ensuring the correct decisions are being made. You will be responsible for daily workflow allocation, managing day to day operations and ensuring quality output from your team members. Utilising your communication and relationship building skills, you will also take ownership of supporting and maintaining partnerships with external parties and other internal departments.
With at least 3+ years of leadership experience, you will have a proven track record in coaching and developing staff to maximise performance and deliver on challenging business goals. You will encourage a strong focus on process, client delivery and same day service where possible, and finally, monitor staff productivity against key performance indicators and targets. You will also conduct regular call-monitoring for quality assurance purposes, whilst also ensuring the team is compliant with all industry regulations and internal risk and compliance frameworks. Previous recoveries experience favourable but not required as training will be provided.
