The role 
As a phone based Account Manager with carsales, your role is to pro-actively build business relationships with key dealer management from within the accounts allocated to you, resulting in the building of ongoing ‘partner’ relationships.
  
This role is specific within this group, as you will be primarily setting up, nurturing and training new dealers as they are brought onto the network by our BDM’s, before being handed over to an Account Manager. It is envisaged that you will also keep some new dealers to manage ongoing that you feel can be managed effectively whilst maintaining your core role.

What you'll do 
  • Maintain a minimum number of proactive dealer contacts per quarter
  • Ensure new clients are on-boarded with best practices in place
  • Deliver to key Personal a set number of business reviews per quarter
  • Research and prepare prior to each call to ensure opportunities are identified
  • Proactively educate and work to implement new ways  the dealer can improve their business and their return on investment (ROI) utilising the carsales network suite of products and services
  • Value add to each proactive dealer contact
  • Resolve client problems constructively, professionally and in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate staff in the dealerships have been fully educated on the suite of products they are subscribed to
  • Ensure accurate notes and outcomes are noted in our internal CRM
