Council is seeking a diligent part-time Customer Service Officer - Reception who is reliable, flexible and able to successfully promote and sell Council’s Holiday Parks through the provision of first class customer service; ensuring guests have access to enjoyable, attractive and safe accommodation, grounds and amenities within the fast-paced, Halifax Holiday Park.

You will be required to work on a 7 day rotating roster and may be required to work at the other Port Stephens Holiday Parks as part of your role. Depending on the operational needs of the Holiday Parks, this position may be required to work up to 38 hours per week.

What we’re looking for:

  • A dynamic personality with passion for first class customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in a sales and customer service role
  • A demonstrated ability to act on sales opportunities
  • Excellent phone manner, with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a rotating roster with weekends and work at the other Port Stephens Holiday Parks as required
  • Savvy computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
  • Currently hold or studying towards a qualification in Hospitality or similar industry
  • First class presentation, communication and proactive listening skills
  • Current drivers license

TRP Range: $28,248 to $30,634 pa per 19 hours per week (includes 9.5% superannuation + retention allowance + flexible work conditions) plus allowances for weekend work.
