As part of the Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety group, Blackwoods is Australia’s leading supplier of industrial and safety products. We believe in providing outstanding service to our customers through outstanding people and right now we're seeking a Trade Store Officer to join our Darwin team.
Working as an integral part of our highly effective and friendly team you will be responsible for:
- Managing customer interactions end to end mainly over the counter and phone
- Placing and processing orders
- Keeping up to date with product knowledge to ensure customer service levels are met
- Problem solving and complaint resolution
- Building great relationships with your customer
- Merchandise placement and maintaining the shops appearance
This role would be suited to an individual with proven Trade Counter and/or customer service experience within a hardware store or industrial consumables and safety gear. You will be a proactive team member with a positive attitude and a highly motivated work ethic. You will also be well presented with excellent communication skills. Experience with or an understanding of the industrial product market would be highly valued, however is will be your “can-do” attitude and willingness to learn that will see you shine. A current car licence will be required within this role as you will be travelling to client sites to build strong relationships.
