About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Transactional Support officer to join the out Product and Strategy team.

In this role you will provide sales and operational support to the Manager Transactional Banking Solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Support
  • Complete assessments, reviews, quotes, referrals, approvals and escalations as required by delegation of the position using
  • Sound judgment and good decision making in relation to
    • Assessing high risk, complex/custom requests for merchant functionality
    • Assessing high risk, complex/custom fee refund requests
  • Reviewing complex/custom quotes and pricing
  • Referring for loss leading, risk assessment and higher delegation
  • Approving customer quotes/applications within delegation

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will have the below skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with client service and or sales and operational background
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Substantial knowledge of the Bank’s general banking operations
  • Sound knowledge of competitors products
  • Sound knowledge of industry changes
  • Ability to manage business banking and branch network relationships on a day to day basis
  • Ability to liaise with clients and build repour while servicing clients transaction banking needs over the phone
