About the business and the role

An exciting full-time permanent employment opportunity has become available in our Business Development Centre (BDC) located at our Launceston Mitsubishi dealership. We're seeking a motivated, results driven individual who is passionate about the guest experience to join our friendly, professional team. 

The ideal candidate will:

  • be a highly effective communicator, with an exceptional telephone manner 
  • have strong administration skills, including a high attention to detail and data accuracy and integrity 
  • be able to maintain a high level of professionalism when working under pressure and capable of appropriately managing customer objections and complaints

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Professionally and efficiently manage inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Appropriately transfer customer calls internally
  • Enter and maintain accurate data records within Dealer Management System 
  • Comply with company policies & procedures, compliance, quality, risk and legislative requirements
  • Provide support with administration operational functions as required

Skills and experience

  • Professional, friendly and courteous customer service manner
  • Previous experience within a customer service role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to take initiative and problem solve in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple calls to be answered in a queue at any one time;
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs with accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a high-performance team
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and respond to multiple stakeholder requests
