Customer Service Officer – Rosebery Location

Himmel Interior Systems offers a complete and innovative interior systems solution for the Australian Building market through our global portfolio of ceilings, walls, aluminium and architectural hardware products. We are at the forefront of commercial interior design, offering a comprehensive range of functional and aesthetically pleasing solutions.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Officer, who’s passion is helping customers get the best experience! You will be a first port of call for customer inquiries and initial conversations in regards to helping them find the right Himmel product for their need.

This role will be part-time, 3 days a week, at our Rosebery head office.

  Responsibilities include; 

  • Ensure phone and email enquiries and orders are processed quickly and accurately;
  • Responsive customer communications regarding manufacturing and delivery capabilities or delays;
  • Entering and maintaining customer orders;
  • Create and manage sales quotes and pipeline;
  • Managing a small project pipeline with some of our key product lines;
  • Processing credits and returns in a timely manner;
  • Educate our internal & external customers on our products and services;
  • Work closely with the dispatch and warehouse departments to ensure a high standard of service is provided to our customers;

  • Strong time management and organisational skills;
  • Resilience and the ability to join a fast paced and busy environment;
  • Computer literacy (Word and Excel) and accurate data entry skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport.
