Successful online finance company located in Bundall is looking for a permanent part-time Customer Service Officer who has a positive attitude and strong work ethic who can consistently provide fast, friendly and efficient service to our customers.

Although this position will work a routine 3 day roster of 20 to 25 hours each week, we only wish to hear from applicants who can offer some flexibility to work additional hours for planned and unplanned staff absences during normal business hours from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm Saturday (Once every 4 to 6 weeks)

  • Is flexible, reliable, punctual and will not let their team down.
  • Have a positive, friendly and customer focused attitude and genuinely care about the quality and performance of your work output.
  • Have experience in a call centre environment with strong listening skills, accurate data entry and non-judgmental toward our customers.
  • Have the ability to learn a new computer system quickly so that you can hit the ground running after initial training.
  • Have attention to detail to be able to quickly analyse customer bank statements to accurately prepare personal income and expense budgets.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to follow company procedures and team leader instructions to provide excellent customer experiences and satisfy our compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience in a lending environment will be beneficial.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Action inbound and outbound telephone calls efficiently and effectively to achieve weekly KPI requirements.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers and team members at all times.
  • Finalise partially completed online loan applications over the telephone with customers for various lending or debt management products.
  • Proactively follow up customers for any outstanding information or documents.
  • Ask customer open and closed questions to understand bank statement transaction and credit report history.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail with accurate notes and recordings in our CRM.
  • Contribute to a happy and positive work environment with open communication and cooperation.
