The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Solar (Solar & Emerging Business) team based in Melbourne for 12 months Limited Term Contract. Working closely with the broader team, you will be responsible for growing the business Solar customer base through the qualification and appointment setting of Solar PV systems to potential and existing customers.

Within your role, your key responsibility will be to promote Origin Energy's Solar offering to end user business customers while providing a great customer experience. You will do this through making outbound calls to predominantly Origin Energy customers to discuss how our solar products may meet their needs and schedule time for our field sales team to meet with them to hold a more comprehensive conversation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell Origin Energy Solar systems to end user business customers
  • Manage inbound enquiries email inbox
  • Reinvigorate sales pipeline through OTM activities
  • Lead generation channel reporting
  • Mentor 3rd party lead generation partners to ensure qualification of leads
  • Build and maintain a positive culture of sales excellence
  • Prioritise workflow to ensure exceptional customer service is paramount
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Is This You?

You'll need to be a great communicator, highly motivated, driven and above all, have great customer focus and relationship building skills. You will also possess a deep technical knowledge of solar technology, Renewable energy schemes and legislation.

You're experienced in:
  • Utilities Industry, specifically Solar Technology
  • Customer service
  • Telephone sales, either outbound or inbound
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
